A vet who found his mountain
and built room for his brothers
Robert Bibb is a disabled US Army veteran. After the service he did what a lot of us do — tried to find somewhere the noise stopped. He found it in Cocorná: a finca on a green hillside in eastern Antioquia, with a river below and mountains in every window.
Then he did something most of us don't: he spent years building it out — by hand, with local builders — into a place with a dozen rooms, a real gym, a sauna, and one long dining table. Not to flip it. To fill it.
ColombiaLiving is his answer to a question too many veterans face at the kitchen table: "Why am I paying US assisted-living prices to be warehoused, when my rating could buy me a life?" Here, it buys the mountain, the meals, and the brotherhood — with money left over.
Rob runs the house personally and vets every application himself. You'll talk to him before you ever sign anything.
